Intel and You are referred to herein individually as a “Party” or, together, as the “Parties”. I can see now it doesn't support ALC 650 codec. The resistance is futile.:) The link you gave me for Intel High Definition Audio. I can't reproduce his problem as I don't have a 圆4 processor or that soundcard on my mobo. Some say I shall try with previous drivers, R.13 or R.14.
I tried the latest drivers for Vista 圆4, from - R2.22, that were released recently.
I know I am asking too much, as Win 7 is still in beta stage, but I really need to make this work. They install at one point, but nothing comes out of the speakers.
I disabled windows driver signing using "bcd /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" as I know Windows 圆4 refuses to install if the drivers are not diggitally signed. A friend of mine has this mobo, and I've been trying for three days now to help him install the audio drivers, for Windows 7 圆4.
